SALVATION

The Way of Salvation

The Bible says that all men are sinners.
Our sins have separated us from God.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

God created us in His own image which includes our free will, we have the ability to choose between good and evil – man chooses to sin.

God's Word also says that sin must be paid for.
"For the wages of sin is death...." Romans 6:23

Wages means payment. The payment of our sin is death and hell, separation from God forever.  If we die without Christ we shall die in our sins and be separated from God forever in hell where we will pay for our sins.

The good news is that God loved us and gave His Son to die as our substitute.
All of our sins were laid on Christ on the cross. He paid our sin debt for us. The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross, and He arose from the dead. He is alive forevermore.

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

The two conditions for receiving God’s gift of salvation are Repentance and Faith

"Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." Acts 20:21

If you would be willing to turn from your sin and pride and receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you can be saved.

The Bible says, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" John 1:12

And again, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

Jesus also said, "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." John 6:37

If you will acknowledge in your heart before God these things, then turn to Him now at this moment and be saved before it is eternally too late!

"(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)" II Corinthians 6:2
